List of Airfields Under Threat Updated

GAAC QUARTERLY — AERODROMES UPDATE

The GAAC planning team led by Vice Chairman John Gilder continues to work alongside Supporting Aviation Organisations to further the cause of improved protection for the UK’s airfield infrastructure.

For further information please read the GAAC’s further explanation of its response to the Government’s 2020 Planning White Paper, in which it proposes a fourth category, ‘Infrastructure’. This provides a clear statement to the Government as why UK Airfields are worthy of much greater recognition in law, how this will enhance their already significant potential in contributing to economic recovery and future growth, and HOW this can be achieved — in the view of those representing the GA sector.
